All your kitchen utensils in the SwissarmiusIf you fancy yourself a MacGuyver in the kitchen, then the Swissarmius is a must have. It tells everyone who enters your kitchen that you are serious about whipping up some grub and you have the tools to prove it. It’s a cutlery holder that is also a replica of the traditional Swiss Army Knife.

It’s also a perfect storage solution that has everything. Swissarmius comes with four compartments to make sure your kitchen is organized. The only downside is that all of the utensils don’t fold inside the case neatly like the real-deal.

Lightware LED Silverware

LED SilverwarePerfect for those romantic candelit dinners, it’s Lightware- the LED lit cutlery. This silverware features a silver head and an engraved crystal body, sure to add to the ambience of any darkly lit dining experience.

They have a small LED powered by a watch battery at the bottom. The electronic part can be removed for washing, because otherwise things would just get gross. Your fork will still stab, but now you will be able to see what you are stabbing. If these don’t impress your date, try the Lego cutlery. At least with those you can join her fork to yours and say something sappy.

Intelligent Cutlery does more then just stab, scoop & cut

Intelligent Cutlery does more then just stab, scoop & cutIf you figured your kitchen utensils were safe from a tech upgrade, you were wrong. The IC3 concept would give your cutlery a computerized body able to hold three interchangeable eating tools: fork, spoon and knife.

The fork wont just stab blindly, it will also analyze the composition of the food, reporting details on fat, protein, and sugars. The spoon will measure weight with the knife acting as a thermometer. All of this information will be compiled into a detailed report so that you know exactly what you’re eating. Screw that. Who wants some nanny telling them what’s good for them. These utensils can go fork themselves.

Lego-like cutlery is cute, modular
Fred and Friends has a cool-looking fake Lego cutlery set that will hopefully make it to market. Although judging by the picture, they believe that everyone uses utensils to eat apples and bananas for some reason.

These have a great look, but what’s really cool is that the handles are silicone and they snap together just like Legos. So, let’s say you’re eating steak. Attach the knife to the fork in opposite directions, for awesome cutting then stabbing action. It’s also great for playing at the table while waiting on dinner. You could construct a bunch of cool cutlery things. Better then a Duplo set.
