JVC intros wireless TH-BA3 and TH-BS7 soundbar systems The TS-BA3 is a dual wireless soundbar system with a 280-watt amplifier, featuring 5.1-channel surround. It includes a soundbar, wireless subwoofer and wireless rear speaker kit for $549.95. You’ll get a single analog input, two optical digital inputs and support for Dolby Digital, DTS and Dolby ProLogic II surround.

The TH-BS7 will cost you $599.95 and is designed to mount on flat-panel HDTVs, with a 1.4-inch tall, ultrathin soundbar, a wall-mountable amplifier and a wireless subwoofer. This one features 180-watts with 4.1 sound.

Pioneer unveils four new GPS systemsPioneer is hoping to turn a nice profit on these four new GPS systems, so they can whether this tough economic time. They’ve announced four more in-vehicle GPS navigation systems. The AVIC-VH9900, AVIC-ZH9900, AVIC-H9900 and AVIC-T20.

All will make their way to Japan in early June. The first three on the list are pretty typical of what’s already on the market with 7″ WVGA touchscreen displays. The AVIC-T20 on the other hand is different, sporting an 800 x 480 resolution 5.8″ touchscreen display and the ability to receiving real-time traffic info via built-in 3G/HSDPA.

Onkyo intros two new iPod speaker systemsOnkyo has released two new cool looking iPod speaker systems. The X-T2CR sports a CD player and the X-T2 plays MDs. Both have built-in iPod docks that are compatible with any generation iPod.

Both also feature AM and FM tuners, and A-OMF Cone and 8cm driver units for the speakers. They’re a little more stylish than your average iPod speaker deck, and actually look pretty nice. ipod docks are a dime a dozen and we like to see some that look good occasionally.

Pioneer drops 5 New GPS navigation systemsPioneer intros not one, not two, but four new GPS navigation devices at once. Collectively they are the HRZ099, HRZ088, HRV022, and HRV011. They all share the same specifications including a 40GB storage capacity, 1Seg TV, 7-Inch LCD Screen and they can play WMA, MP3, AAC, and DivX file formats. As you might expect, hey are also compatible with iPods.

The Pioneer HRZ099 is the High-End model of the litter, equipped with a 800 x 480 resolution. The others are 480×234. The Pioneer HRZ099 and HRZ088 also feature a built-in Amplifier with a maximum output of 50W x 4ch. Aside from these 7-Inch GPS devices, the company also introduced a 5.8-Inch GPS which sports 8GB of Flash Memory, a built-in amplifier (50w x4), 1Seg TV tuner, an SD card slot and USB Port. It can also reproduce DVD/WMA/MP3/DivX/WAV/MPEG-4 files.
