Triple USB Foot Switch

Posted in USB by Conner Flynn on January 18th, 2010

If you’re looking for a new way to control your devices, then check this out. It takes a page out of your grandmother’s sewing book and lets you control things with a foot switch. The triple USB foot switch allows you to control your peripherals using foot pedals.

Is it faster than a keyboard shortcut? I doubt it. But maybe you feel like you need to put on the gas and go all vroom vroom on your peripherals. Each pedal can be pre-programmed with unique keys or multiple keys with the included software.

Wii bicycle pedal accessory coming soon

Wii bicycle pedal accessory coming soonThis leaked marketing slide spotted over on NeoGAF suggests that we may be getting a bike peripheral sometime soon. I wonder if they will port the arcade hit Paperboy to the Wii so you can peddle away and throw papers or maybe you can ride in the Tour de France.

We don’t know if the image is from Nintendo or from a 3rd-party accessory maker, but it looks a lot more useful than an inflatable horse. Obviously the $89.99 controller is geared toward bike-riding and fitness activities.

The ultimate bike sound system

The ultimate bike sound system
You don’t want to leave this bike sitting unattended on the sidewalk. Anyway, it’s not like you can secure this thing with a standard lock chain. You’d need a lot of chain. Clearly, this bike was built by a man who loves sound and wants to pedal down the street like the ultimate speaker pimp, tipping his hat at people, acting like the booming bass doesn’t phase him, while his leg muscles burn from moving these mammoth speakers. Ain’t nothin but a G thing yo. G as in geek. Word.

See, a group of Trinidadian teenagers in Queens are customizing their BMX bikes. They all have one of these speaker bikes. I would imagine that it’s great exercise. Nicholas Randall and Joe Stevens made a movie about it it called Made In Queens. Check it out below.
