SilverStone PS06 Full-Tower PC Case

SilverStone is set to release another full-tower PC case for the Japanese market. It is dubbed the PS06 and is sleek and stylish steel case that supports both Micro ATX and ATX motherboards.

It features a top-placed I/O panel with two USB 3.0 and audio ports, five 5.25-inch external drive bays, one 3.5-inch external drive bay, four 3.5-inch internal drive bays, a side panel window, eight expansion slots and has two fans. The PS06 will ship in Japan on May 13th for 11,980 Yen (or about $145). No word on when it will show up elsewhere.

Bitfenix unveils cool Survivor computer case

Gamers and enthusiast typically want a case that looks cool, holds a lot of gear, and keeps all that gear nice and cool inside. They also want all of that at an affordable price. Bitfenix has unveiled a new computer case called the Survivor that meets every one of those needs.

The case is coated in a cool SoftTouch material that has a matte black finish and looks a bit rubbery. The case has a pop up handle for carrying it around. The construction is plastic and steel so it will be heavy, but should be very sturdy at the same time.

If you are a computer geek that likes to upgrade your hardware frequently, you are probably like me and have a number of older HDDs sitting around with data on them that you don’t want to delete. The problem is if I need data off those old drives I have to open my computer and dig around for another SATA cable and power cable to get the thing running.

Sharkoon has unveiled a new computer case called the Bandit that has a very cool feature. That feature is an integrated SATA docking station on top. You can take any SATA HDD and just plug it into the integrated dock to access data from the HDD. The case also has an integrated memory card reader.

SilverStone shows off cool Sugo SG07 SFF PC case

I am starting more and more to appreciate small form factor computers. Not only do they take less space, but they are often quieter as well. SilverStone has unveiled a new PC case called the Sugo SG07 that is designed for Mini-ITX mainboards.

The case ships with a 600W PSU that is 80 Plus Bronze certified and has a single 12V rail. The case has a 180mm fan, which is larger than the mainboard the case is designed for.

Corsair unveils 600T mid-tower PC case

Corsair has been making computer cases for a while and the company offers some very cool cases that gamers and enthusiasts have enjoyed. Along with the line of cases, Corsair also has SSDs, PSUs and lots of other computer hardware.

Corsair has added a new case to its line today called the 600T. The new case has the features of a full-tower in a more compact mid-tower design. One of the coolest features is that the 600T has a USB 3.0 port on the front panel for easy access.

NZXT offers the Tempest Evo camo case

Back in November 2009, NZXT offered up the new Tempest Evo case in all black and it was nice. The case has lots of room and a great cooling system inside. NZXT has offered up a new edition of the case with a new color scheme.

The new case is called the NZXT camo Tempest Evo. It is clad in a grey, black, and white digital camo pattern on the outside. Other than the new color the case is the same Evo we saw last year.

You can put all the newest hardware available inside your PC, but if you put it in a junky looking case, no one will think it’s cool. Gamers and enthusiasts want a cool case, but they don’t want to spend so much on the case that they have to skimp on hardware.

NZXT has announced a new case that should be reasonably priced called the Hades. The chassis is good looking and is designed to offer nine 5.25″ drive bays. If you don’t need that many 5.25″ bays four of them can be converted to 3.5″ drive bays.

NZXT unveils GAMMA budget gaming case with nice features

nzxtgamma-sgNZXT has been making some nice cases for computer enthusiasts for a while now. The big thing about the company is that its cases are typically reasonably priced and offer good looks and performance. NZXT has unveiled a new gaming chassis called the GAMMA that will sell for under $50.

For that much money, you get some nice features including support for six fans. Only one fan is included with the case however. The case also has a mesh front panel for airflow and lots of wire routing options on the motherboard tray and other places.
