Posted in LG by Conner Flynn on September 14th, 2010

LG has seen fit to offer us some additional details on its Optimus One and Optimus Chic Android-powered phones. Both devices are similar when it comes to specifications and offer a 3.2-inch 600MHz processor, Wi-Fi b/g, A-GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, dual-band WCDMA radio, quad-band GSM, and will be powered by Android 2.2.

The Optimus One features a 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and a 1500mAh battery. The Optimus Chic has a 5-megapixel camera with a 1250mAh battery. Both should be available in Europe around November, though we have no info on pricing yet.

The LG Optimus One and Optimus Chic have been spotted again. Both of them will be powered by Android. Unfortunately we still don’t have specifications, a price or an availability date.

The LG Optimus One is also known as the P500 and we do know that Android 2.2 Froyo comes bundled with it, along with 3G, Wi-Fi and a 3-megapixel camera with no flash.

Two Android phones from LG have been announced, the Optimus One, and Optimus Chic. LG says that “Optimus” means “best” in Latin, but it sounds like a Transformer to us.

No specs have been confirmed for the Optimus One or Optimus Chic, but we can tell you that both will be running Android 2.2 Froyo when they arrive. A third Optimus phone, the Optimus Z, has shown up on LG’s corporate Flickr account, with LG’s Korean corporate name “CYON” branded on it as well.
