PlayStation Vita out in October?

According to a British Blockbuster flyer, the PlayStation Vita will land in the United Kingdom on October 28th. This fall release date fits right into Sony’s “end of 2011” launch window, so this may be accurate.

Of course, without official confirmation you should take this with a grain of salt for now. If this does pan out it will be a nice Halloween surprise. Hopefully it’s a treat rather than a trick.

Microsoft confirms Natal launch in October

Now we get a fresh confirmation on when exactly Natal will be launching. According to Microsoft’s Syed Bilal Tariq, there will still be an October launch date for Natal. Microsoft’s marketing manager for Saudi Arabia says that the Natal launch: “is going to be somewhere in October and we will be in a position to confirm the date at E3, which is in June, but definitely it is going to be October 2010.”

So there ya go. Soon you’ll be able to play all kinds of Motion controlled games on your Xbox 360, while looking a bit less silly than those using a wii. And it’s about time.

Asus Eee Keyboard confirmed for October, with Wireless HDMI

Asus Eee touchscreen keyboard PCThe wait is nearly over. Asus has finally committed to an October U.S and European arrival for the highly anticipated Asus Eee Keyboard. We had hoped it would be here in August. The keyboard has a 5-inch touchscreen and Ultra Wideband HDMI (with receiver) to connect to your TV. And we want one now.

Some of the Eee Keyboard’s specs include a 1.6GHz Atom processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 16 or 32GB solid-state hard disk, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and HDMI. We don’t have a price yet, but we’re hoping that Asus can keep it reasonable.

HTC Hero headed to Sprint October 11th, $179.99It’s official. Sprint has officially announced the HTC Hero for their network. The handset will be coming October 11th for $179.99 after various rebates. Looks like the same internal specs apply with Exchange Active Sync, and Sense UI, plus Sprint TV.

As for the outside you might notice that it is missing the chin on this model. If you are really eager, pre-registration is available now.

Palm Eos shipping in October?

Palm Eos shipping in October?The Palm Eos smartphone is expected to start shipping in October, according to a DigiTimes report. The GSM/HSPA device will eventually be produced at numbers between 400,000 and 500,000 per month. A CDMA EVDO version of the device is expected to ship in the first quarter of 2010. This latest bit of news supports earlier reports that AT&T will get it first in North America.

To refresh your memory, the Eos features a 2.6-inch, 320×400 multi-touch display, QWERTY keyboard and a thickness of just 0.42 inches. The device would slot in under the Palm Pre, losing Wi-Fi and including 4GB of built-in memory and a 2-megapixel camera. Access to 3G networks as well as assisted GPS and Bluetooth are retained.

Sony Ericsson Idou becomes Satio, ships in OctoberToday it was announced that the Symbian-powered Idou unveiled at Mobile World Congress earlier this year will be coming in October as the “Satio. The 640 x 350 3.5-inch touchscreen device features an amazing 12.1 megapixel camera, dual-band HSPA, microSD expansion, and xenon flash.

An 8GB memory card will be included to the box. It will be available in three colors, black, silver, and bordeaux. That last is a more female friendly color.
