Sony MDR-EX1000 Earphones are expensive

Posted in Sony by Conner Flynn on December 28th, 2010

The MDR-EX1000 is an Asia-only release, which comes with ultra large drivers of 16mm for superb sound reproduction. It also includes 10 different silicon earbuds for better fits. That should mean no more sore ears for any of us.

The 16mm drivers can inject 3-30,000Hz of audio awesomeness into your skull, which will wrap around your brain like a spiky nano-storm of audio-erotica. At least, I hope it’s that cool, because these babies cost $799. Better start saving.
