Lenovo P717 Luxury Dual SIM Smartphone

Lenovo’s P717 Luxury Dual Smartphone sports 18 carat pink gold all over its back as well as Sharp’s 3.2-inch touchscreen with HVGA resolution, a MicroSD card and dual SIM card slots. It has more bling than power as usual though.

The camera is just a 3 megapixel camera. This smartphone will also be available in an understated steel chassis for those who don’t need to make a statement with bling. No word on availability and pricing just yet. Hopefully we will find out more soon.

Samsung Luxury Galaxy Tab to cost $1,000

Samsung is unleashing a special Luxury edition of its Galaxy Tab that will cost $1,000.00. For that price you get an exclusive leather case to carry the tablet in and a Bluetooth headset in addition to the stock Galaxy Tab. That’s it.

That’s right. There isn’t any gold or silver or even a single Swarovski crystal anywhere. We aren’t even sure if it will be the 3G-capable version. If this is a Wi-Fi-only model, you better pass on this one.

Tonino Lamborghini Spyder Series Luxury Phones

Here’s the latest addition to the ultra luxurious mobile handset market, the Tonino Lamborghini Spyder handset. The range is priced at $1781 to $2813 because they come with a 316L-grade stainless steel casing and a 2.2-inch (240 x 320 pixels) sapphire crystal scratch resistant LCD display.

Despite all of that, a 3MP camera with VGA video recording is the best they could do. It isn’t even 3G enabled but they are hand made and hand polished. A few models in the Spyder range are the S-670, S-680 and S-685 which are the higher end models with rose gold, gold and black/gold PVD finishes. The S-600 comes with DLC (Diamond-Like Coating) while the S-610 and S-620 have simple black PVD finishes.

$8 million iPhone 4 Diamond Rose Edition

Exclusively made by Stuart Hughes, the iPhone 4 Diamond Rose Edition has a price tag of £5 million ($8,020,000). It was made for Tony Sage, renowned in the gold mining industry and also the sole owner of Perth’s A-league soccer team. An important man like that needs an important phone apparently.

The price reflects more diamonds and other precious stones and metals added. The iPhone 4 Diamond Rose Edition features a rose gold bezel caked with 500 diamonds (100 ct) on front and 53 diamonds on the apple logo on the rear.

Ever heard of ruthenium? Me either. Turns out it’s used as an external plating on these luxurious open-back headphones. There are other expensive materials inside, with titanium-plated 40mm drivers, silver-plated copper wires with 99.99 percent purity and kevlar-coated cables.

There is also Ethiopian sheepskin earcup pads. The Ultrasone Edition 10s will cost you $2,745. Crazy, I know. So if you have some money burning a hole in your pocket, why not give them a try.

If you think that your phone was expensive, think again. The Ulysse Nardin Chairman phone is $50K and doesn’t even run Froyo. Instead you get 2.1. CrunchGear recently went hands on with the phone to see what you get for $50k. Turns out, you also get a dock.

Asus announces Lamborghini VX6 And VX7 notebooks

The VX6 and VX7 Lamborghini-branded notebooks were shown off at Computex. The VX6 is white with the typical Lamborghini styling. The 12-inch netbook is powered by a dual-core 1.83GHz Atom D525 processor, NVIDIA ION 2 graphics, up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, Windows 7, and has a 12.-1inch 1366 x 768 pixel display.

The larger VX7 offers a 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 display, Core i3, i5 or i7 processor and supports up to 16GB of ram. No official word on pricing just yet, so that money is going to keep burning a hole in your pocket. Rest assured, it will be expensive.

The Joule is a $130 iPad stand

Vertu is outing four cool new models for their upcoming anniversary. These include the Kinko, Kikusui, Nanten and Daigo. These have real gold all over and as usual it costs a ridiculous amount to get mediocre specs.

If you have a spare fortune and don’t believe in charity, you’ll want to buy one as soon as possible. $215,000 is just pocket money. All four of them sport unique and cool designs. Try not to get mugged because of your phone.

If you’re looking for an Android powered luxury phone, check this one out. Hopefully you have a spare $49,500 to buy this updated Ulysse Nardin Chairman phone. It has to be the most expensive Android phone ever. At least until they do it up in gold and diamonds and jack up that price.

Originally the phone was to be powered by Windows Mobile, but now it has the Android OS. Some features include a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display, fingerprint recognition, 3G, a Facebook app preloaded, 8-megapixel camera, HD video playback, 32GB internal memory, and an ARM-based Freescale i.MX processor.
