Sennheiser 500 Series High-end Headphones

Sennheiser has just announced its latest high-end range of headphones, the 500 series. These headphones feature EAR (Eargonomic Acoustic Refinement) technology and use neodymium magnets and duofol diaphragms, along with a gold-plated 6.3mm audio jack and a frequency response of 12Hz to 38,500Hz.

The 500 Series includes the HD598 which is padded and has a compressed cellulose fleece and is capable of 38,500Hz. The HD558 has soft velor ear pads and is capable of 28,000Hz, while the HD518 features an anthracite finish and up to 26,000Hz.

Sony High-end MDR-EX1000 Earphones

If you happen to be living in Japan and need some new earbuds, Sony will be releasing the High-end MDR-EX1000 earphones there. If you are game, they will cost you 61,950 Yen (or $735 yankee dollars).

These earphones feature a sensitivity of 108dB/mW, a bandwidth reproduction of 3-30,000Hz, an impedance of 32 Ohms, and 16mm drivers. You can expect the Sony High-end MDR-EX1000 earphones to be released in Japan on October 23rd.

CanoScan 9000F High-End Scanner now available in Japan

Canon has now released the CanoScan 9000F in Japan. The 9000F is a high-end scanner that delivers a maximum color resolution of 9600dpi with a color depth of 48 bits and offers improved scanning times. It can even scan up to four 35mm slides or twelve 35mm filmstrips at one time.

The CanoScan 9000F uses the Canon’s Film Automatic Retouching and Enhancement Level 3 technology to remove dust and scratches. The Canon CanoScan 9000F high-end scanner retails for 25,980 Yen (or $284). Not a bad price for the features.

New high end PC speakers from Sony

New high end PC speakers from SonySony introduces a new high-end PC speaker line-up with superior sound quality. The design is pretty interesting too. One of the high-end PC speakers is the SRS-DF30, which is a 2.1 Speaker for your PC with a built-in FM Radio Tuner. Other models include the SRS-D25, SRSZ50 and SRS-Z100.

The slim size Sony SRS-Z50 is a pair of speakers that feature a bass reflex duct, while the three-way SRS-Z100 speakers feature bass boost. The Sony SRS-D25 2.1 speaker system sports a subwoofer for strong bass.
