YouTube’s hidden Snake game

Posted in YouTube by Conner Flynn on July 25th, 2010

First it was Google’s playable Pac Man logo. Now YouTube has their own game to help you kill some time while you should be working, with their hidden game of Snake. Just go to a video in the gaming category, click inside the video, and hold the left arrow key.

That’s when a trail of white dots will appear. You steer your snake through a single blinking white dot that you need to steer your snake across.

PC-In-A-VaseThis is a first. Normally we see PC guts or console guts stuffed into all kinds of things, but they are the result of hackers. This PC-in-a-vase was designed by an actual company, ECS. It’s actually an interesting glimpse into the future, when we will want to hide the PC and have it mesh more with our environment.

It has an Atom 230 system, a 2.5-inch HDD of unknown capacity, a Blu-Ray drive, 1GB of RAM and HDMI out, all in one package. Sometimes you just want a vase in your living space instead of a HTPC.

Shakespeare bust with hidden Bat-switch

bust with hidden Bat-switchSure, this looks like an innocent bust that shows off your love of the writer/poet/ladies man, but throw back his head and it reveals a secret switch. Do you remember this yet? It’s from the old Batman TV series from the ’60s. Bruce Wayne hid his secret switch inside and used it whenever it was time to get into the batcave. It sat next to the red Bat-Phone.

Shakespeare’s switch can control almost anything electronic: lights, window shades, music, even swiveling bookshelf batcave entrances. It isn’t cheap though. You’ll need to spend Bruce Wayne bucks to get it. The limited-edition statue is selling for $315.

Watch with hidden USB flash drive
If you have the need to smuggle sensitive data from one place to another and need to hide your usb drive, this is the watch for you. It features a hidden 4GB USB Flash Drive thanks to a secret compartment at the base.

Plus, it’s fairly plain so it won’t draw attention like say, a Tokyoflash watch. With this baby, before you know it, you’ll be stealing all kinds of company secrets. Unless of course your boss is reading the ‘Brick and notices how much your watch looks like this one.

Hide your valuables in an air vent safe

Hide your valuables in an air vent safe
Most safes make it pretty obvious that your valuables are inside, usually due to the combination lock or keypad on the outside. You can hide stuff under your mattress or behind various other things that a thief would want to steal, but that’s pretty unorganized. What if you could hide your valuables inside of something that’s so common, that it’s completely out of sight?

How about an air vent? To install it, just cut out a section of drywall, and put in the compartment fastening it with screws. It opens with a mechanism that is hidden in the grill and no one will see your stuff thanks to a black divider. It will cost you $259.95, but you have to admit, it’s the best hiding spot.
