Hasbro Transformers Cine-Mask 3D glasses

Posted in 3D by Conner Flynn on February 22nd, 2011

If you somehow thought that the last Transformers movie was good, then you’ll no doubt want to see Transformers: Dark of the Moon this summer. You’ll also likely want to add $10 to the cost of each ticket, since Hasbro is offering these Transformers Cine-Mask 3D glasses.

They will be selling these in stores before the movie’s release and they are available in Optimus Prime and Bumblebee versions. The masks each have a standard set of RealD 3D glasses, which makes them suitable for most theaters out there and other 3D movies. Sadly there’s no adult sizes available.

Battleship gets a complete overhaul

I remember playing Battleship as a kid. It’s a classic that every kid enjoys at some point, but it has needed an update for a long time. So Hasbro is offering Battleship Live. For your $50 purchase you get an infrared light to cloak the board in order to “see” what is going on.

The gameplay remains the same, the object is to get the right coordinates to sink your opponent’s ships, but you also get spy planes which fly around a track and spy on your opponent’s ships, and to confirm your attack you need to cover both of the “confirm” squares on the side of the board.

Clue Secrets & Spies uses text messaging for hints

Clue: Secrets & SpiesOne of my favorite board games when I was a kid was Clue. Figuring out who killed Col. Mustard and what they used to do it was great fun. The game has hung around and is now a classic with the same game play that many of us grew up on. Hasbro is also announcing new versions of the game with updated game play.

The latest version is called Clue: Secrets & Spies and has players trying to infiltrate a criminal league as a super spy. Players try to figure out who Agent Mustard and Agent Scarlet are and complete missions independently.
