Enermax Rubber Vegas Fans Need No Screws

Posted in Computers by Reuben Drake on June 28th, 2011

The new USB Rubber Vegas fan line from Enermax is unique because of how you mount the fans and move them around in your system. You don’t screw them in place. They use magnetic skin pads to attach to your case. Great news unless you have a plastic case.

The fans measure 12cm, are USB powered, and include 18 red or blue LEDs. You can switch between seven different lighting effects. These fans push 52.51CFM, spin at 1250RPM, and are rated at 21dBA.

Those masters of vacuum design at Dyson have now updated their revolutionary bladeless fan design with a few larger fans. The AM02 Tower is 100cm tall and can take in up to 33L of air each second, it will also amplify the amount by about 16 times using “Air Multiplier” technology.

You can get them in iron, blue and silver, or plain silver colors. The AM03 Pedestal fan blows about 18x the wind from the 33L that it sucks in. It stands at 1.4m in height and features a redesigned pedestal technology and a spring mechanism which lets you change the height and angle.

Antec Notebook Cooler 200

Antec has revealed a rather cool looking notebook cooler which sits under your laptop as you work. It is called the Notebook Cooler 200 and you’ll find it pricing around $90.

The Antec Notebook Cooler 200 comes with what Antec says is a “200mm Big Boy fan” with 400 and 600RPM settings so you can adjust cooling for performance or noise levels. There’s also blue LED illumination as it operates for that extra special X-Files feeling.
