In Japan Denon has released the RCD-N7 Apple AirPlay CD Receiver. The $599 unit looks clean and simple and will work with compatible speakers. It boasts an iPhone dock and a USB jack and can also handle audio streaming from Rhapsody, Napster, Pandora and Last.fm.

The Party Mode Plus setting lets you enjoy a five-system multi-zone setup, and Denon’s new iPod/iPhone/iPad Remote App will handle everything. The RCD-N7 will be available next month.

To celebrate its 100th anniversary, Denon has debuted a line of celebratory gear, which includes this beautiful direct drive turntable. The DP-A100 uses the same high-torque motor Denon developed in 1970, in sexy glossy black and gold.

We hear ya. Yes direct-drive turntables can suffer from the motor transmitting vibrations to the record, but not to fear, Denon gets around this by applying a dampening silicon rubber to the underside of the aluminum platter.

Denon AH-NC800 Noise Canceling Headphones

The Denon AH-NC800 headphones feature solid aluminum housing with dual noise-canceling technology to reduce ambient noise by about 99%, which gives you a higher level of quiet for your music enjoyment. These are priced at 48,000 Yen (or about $542).

The AH-NC800 supports Denon’s audio-enhancing Compressed Audio Restoror technology, which restores musical nuances and subtleties, again for a higher level of sound quality. Some other features include high-quality 40mm drivers, OFC cables with a gold-plated plug connector and a carrying case.

Denon S-5BD Blu-ray player

Denon’s latest S-5BD Blu-ray player, called Cara, is a hefty device, weighing in at 7.8kgs. It’s hefty in price too costing you £1,999. The Cara features 5.1-channel surround sound, two-source, two-room distribution capabilities, BD-Live and HDMI 1.4.

Some other features include an SD memory card slot and iPod/iPhone digital direct playback through USB. The player also supports a huge list of formats. Look for it to be released later next month. That gives you some time to save your cash.

Denon AVC-3310 7.1 AV Amplifier

Denon AVC-3310 7.1 AV AmplifierThe specimen above is the latest 7.1-channel 180-watts amplifier from Denon. The AVC-3310 7.1 AV Amplifier features AL24 Processing Plus and video upscaling capability for DVDs.

It won’t set the world on fire with it’s radical design, but it is compatible with Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, and Dolby Pro Logic IIz and it supports HD playback via the HDMI port. If this one is for you the AVC-3310 will be available in Japan in August for about $1,346.

Denon launches USB vinyl recorderCheck out this sexy looking automatic turntable from Denon. Available in silver or black, the DP-200USB comes equipped with a USB port and an integrated MP3 encoder that will allow you to transfer all of your vinyl collection to MP3 audio tracks without using a computer.

It’s pretty easy to use. Just need to push a button and it does the rest. The Trans Music Convertor will create MP3 files in 192kbps quality and the Gracenote metadata services will add info to your files. It will cost you about £199.99.

Denon DVD-A1UDCI: World’s first universal Bluray playerDenon has the world’s universal Bluray player that can playback CD/DVD/SACD/DVD-A and of course Bluray, with the DVD-A1UDCI. It’s got all the high-end features you want, including an Ethernet port, SD card slot and BD Live support. A 10-bit Silicon Optix Realta chipset enables simultaneous 1080p scaling to two different outputs and the Advanced AL32 processor upscales 16 and 24-bit audio signals to 32-bit.

Outputs include 7.1 channel analog outs and two HDMI ports. Obviously you’re gonna pay for all of those features. The DVD-A1UDCI comes with a price tag of $3800 when it becomes available in February.

New Denon audio systems do iPod, 802.11 music

Denon S-52Denon Electronics has introduced two new audio systems which use wireless connectivity to access digital audio. The new S-32 and S-52 systems are priced at around $500 and $700 respectively.

The Denon S-32 and S-52 are part of the company’s new S-Series Networked Audio Systems. They use 802.11 wireless technology to let you access music on other home networked devices as well as pay-for streaming audio from Rhapsody digital music service. Both models also include a built-in iPod dock, with S-52 offering additional entertainment options like a built-in HD Radio tuner, slot loading CD player and XM Satellite Radio.

Denon ASD-3W WiFi iPod dockDenon has been coming out with a number of products lately with one of the cooler ones being this WiFi iPod dock. The small round docking station connects to your home theater components via RCA and S-Video to let you stream music and pictures to them wirelessly from your PC, or from the iPod that’s docked in it.

Controlling the device is done through an included remote control and can be visually navigated on-screen through your connected television, which will also show information on the current track playing and can control your iPod when docked. The dock is compatible with any 3rd generation iPod on up including iPod video, iPod Nano and iPod Mini and will also charge the devices when connected.

The WiFi iPod dock is available in colors of gloss white or black and will be available in September for $229.99
