Do you abuse your Palm Pixi? Well, OtterBox has released the Impact and Commuter series cases for the smartphone, which retail for $19.95 and $34.95. Like OtterBox’s other offerings, both the Impact and Commuter series cases will offer protection against shocks and drops which would normally kill your beloved Palm Pixi.

The Impact series case has a silicone skin for protection while giving you easy access to all the buttons and phone features. The Commuter series cases have 3 layers of protection, which will bulk up your phone, but make you feel secure.

Commuter sleep goggles rely on the kindness of strangers

Commuter sleep goggles rely on the kindness of strangersPyocotan has a great idea with their “Noriko-san”, a mask that’s designed for napping commuters. But it has one big drawback. It relies on the kindness of other humans around you. The idea is this: If you’ve got a long commute on a train, you are probably tired and want to nap. But you don’t want to miss your stop and be late for work. It blocks light and lets you rest, with a display in front that shows what stop you plan on getting off at.

That’s where your fellow humans come in. These people around you can wake you up when you approach your stop, should you be in dreamland. Sadly, that’s why this device is doomed to fail. Lets face it, people suck. Half of them would leave you bleeding if you got stabbed. BUT it’s a great idea and who knows, maybe it would encourage some interaction.

Suzuki’s Crosscage hybrid light commuter
The Suzuki Crosscage is an awesome looking hydrogen fuel cell and electric hybrid. It’s lightweight and compact with a power output equivalent to a 125cc engine. A single tank of hydrogen will get you about 200 kilometers, which is fine for commuting.

It also features a gearless transmission and a silent engine due to the power source. It gets it’s name from the cross-shaped cage used to protect the hydrogen tank. Don’t worry, it has some safety features, like a sensor that monitors the hydrogen system for any leaks. Check out the video below.
