Kodak announces Easyshare Touch, Mini and Sport Cameras, Playfull and Playsport Camcorders

Kodak just announced a bunch of new cameras and camcorders at CES. There’s the Easyshare Touch, Mini and Sport Cameras, along with their Playfull and Playsport Camcorders.

The Kodak Playfull camcorder features an ultraslim design with a 1080p capture mode and a share feature. Just press the “share” button and you can upload your video directly to YouTube or your favorite social network. All for $150.

Their next generation Playsport video camera is waterproof in up to ten feet of water, shockproof, dustproof and capable of recording video at 1080p, with five megapixel still images. Fear not, for this one also has a share button and will retail for about $180.

Ramos to unveil three new tablets at CES 2011

Ramos will be introducing not one, not two, but a trio of new tablets at CES. There’s the W10, W12 and W15 models. The Ramos W10 sports a Cortex A9-based SoC (System-on-Chip) with the Mali-400 3D graphics chip and 512MB DDR2 RAM.

Next, the Ramos W12 boasts an A9 SoC with Mali-400 graphics and an 8-inch display with a 4:3 aspect ratio. Last but not least, the Ramos W15 packs in the RK2918 Rockchip SoC and an 8-inch display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Sadly, we don’t have any info on pricing for any of these yet.

Empire Brands to launch 3D series headphones at CES 2011

Empire Brands will use CES to roll out its new 3D series line of headphones. The 3D series will be the flagship line of headphones under their Wicked Audio line-up, featuring raised and colorful artwork in a striking 3D effect. We have to admit, they look pretty stylish.

They also feature maximum noise isolation that will inhibit ambient noise to ensure the best audio quality. The adjustable headband and padded earcups will also guarantee a great listening experience.

LG to unveil Honeycomb tablet at CES 2011

According to the Korea Times, LG is looking to unveil some cool stuff at next year’s Consumer Electronics Show. That’s not unusual in itself, but we’re talking about their dual-core Android phone, the Optimus 2X, mobile 3D TVs, and drumroll please…their very first Android tablet.

The Optimus Pad will feature an 8.9″ touchscreen display and run on Android 3.0 aka Honeycomb. This tablet will fit squarely between the iPad’s 10″ display and the Galaxy Tab’s 7″ display.

LG launching Mobile 3D TV at CES 2011

Yesterday we heard about the new 72 inch LED 3D TV from LG, and now we learn that LG also has some smaller 3D TVs planned. Much smaller. The company will be launching a mobile 3D TV.

The company will reveal this new 3D mobile TV at CES 2011. The device will be powered by an LG2161R MDTV chip with NRT (non Real Time) technology and be able to receive 3D TV signals when you are traveling at speeds of up to 200 km/h. So feel free to watch a lot of content in your fast car. Preferably while someone else is driving.

MSI notebooks ready to rock CES 2011

MSI is ready for CES 2011, where they will showcase some new notebooks along with tablet devices. Two new WindPad tablets will be on display, with the Wintel-powered WindPad 100W accompanying the WindPad 100A that runs on the ARM/Android platform. Both will come with modules including G-Sensor gravity detecting devices, an ALS light sensor, and Wi-Fi.

The WindPad 100A will run on Android 2.1 Eclair, with a 10.1-inch multi-touch control display, an ARM processor, a digital compass, a GPS locator, a G-Sensor gravity detecting device, an ALS light sensor, and Wi-Fi with 3G support optional. The Windows 7 Home Premium-powered MSI WindPad 100W is also a 10.1-incher that has an Intel mobile processor and 32GB SSD, a G-Sensor, an ALS light sensor and Wi-Fi.

Samsung Galaxy Player confirmed for CES 2011

Samsung’s iPod touch rival, the Android-powered Galaxy Player has been confirmed to show up next week at CES 2011 and it draws some obvious inspiration from Samsung’s successful Galaxy S phone. The model number is YP-GB1 and it’s powered by Android 2.2 Froyo.

Other specs include a 1GHz processor, a 4-inch 800 x 480 pixel Super Clear LCD display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, HD video playback, microSD card support, 3.2-megapixel rear-facing camera and also a front-facing camera for video calls. This one may actually manage to challenge the iPod touch.
