Sony BDZ-AT350S And BDZ-AT750W Blu-Ray Recorders

Sony is set to release a pair of new Blu-ray recorders: the BDZ-AT350S and BDZ-AT750W. These entry-level Blu-ray players feature the company’s CREAS 4 Image engine processor which produces a sharper HD video quality, 500GB of internal storage and 3D video support.

The BDZ-AT350S sports a single Digital TV tuner, while the BDZ-AT750W comes with a couple of digital TV tuners. The Sony BDZ-AT350S and BDZ-AT750W will hit Japan next month for 65,000 Yen($822) and 85,000 Yen($1,075).

Mitsubishi Electric launches three new BDXL Blu-Ray Recorders

Mitsubishi Electric has launched a trio of new Blu-ray recorders, the DVR-BZ450, DVR-BZ350 and DVR-BZ250. All three models have the same specifications, with 3D Blu-Ray, BDXL Support, AVCREC, two digital TV tuners, and VoD support.

They come with a dual face remote. One face lets you control your TV and another lets you control your recorder. The models differ with how much storage capacity they offer. The first has 2TB, the second has 1TB and the last has just 500GB.

Toshiba unveils 3D upgrade kit for its Blu-ray recorders

Toshiba is making a 3D upgrade kit available for its range of Blu-ray recorders, in the wake of it’s Regza line of 3D HDTVs. All of their new Blu-ray recorders will pack a hard drive inside, while the flagship RD-X10 will feature 2TB of storage space, letting you play 3D movies right out of the box. It will arrive in Japan this September for $2,500.

There will also be three more models which take advantage of the 3D upgrade kit, but so far there is no word on pricing. The company is going pretty heavy on 3D obviously.
