World’s most expensive iPad is $8 million

Behold, the iPad2 Gold History edition. Asin, your money is history. It was as usual, designed and crafted by Stuart Hughes in Liverpool UK. It is encrusted with 16.5 cts of ‘I’F’ flawless diamonds, 53 individually set sparkling gems, a solid 24ct Apple logo and the rear section produced again in 24ct gold.

It weighs 2,000 grams and the front frame of this iPad is made from one of the oldest rocks in the world, the Ammolite, sourced from Canada and dating over 75 million years old. That’s not all, sections of a 65 million year old T-Rex dinosaur’s thigh bone has been splintered and then shaved into the Ammolite and finished off with a single cut 8.5ct flawless diamond inlaid in platinum and surrounded by 12 outer flawless diamonds.

Amazon may ship 8 million Kindles

Amazon could exceed expectations and ship as many as eight million Kindles this year, according to two tipsters. Analysts have estimated five million, but the new figure would be about 60 percent higher. About 2.4 million Kindles shipped in 2009, according to Bloomberg.

The claims aren’t verified yet but were supported by Amazon’s own public results. The company shipped “millions” of Kindles in 73 days this fall and exceeded all of its 2009 sales in that period.

$8 million iPhone 4 Diamond Rose Edition

Exclusively made by Stuart Hughes, the iPhone 4 Diamond Rose Edition has a price tag of £5 million ($8,020,000). It was made for Tony Sage, renowned in the gold mining industry and also the sole owner of Perth’s A-league soccer team. An important man like that needs an important phone apparently.

The price reflects more diamonds and other precious stones and metals added. The iPhone 4 Diamond Rose Edition features a rose gold bezel caked with 500 diamonds (100 ct) on front and 53 diamonds on the apple logo on the rear.
