Hop-On HOP1800While you and I may not understand it, there is a certain percentage of the population that simply wants nothing to do with cool gadgets. I know these people really have no place in a civilized society, but in the spirit of brotherhood and acceptance I present the $10 anti-iPhone.

Hop-On has announced a new disposable cellular phone that retails for only $10 called the HOP1800. The device lacks anything fans of tech want to see on a mobile phone like good looks, LCD display and generally anything cool.

Hop-on HOP2001Hop-on, a developer of cell phones, unveiled today a new mobile PDA which is AT&T and Verizon ready. The new Hop-on HOP2001 seems to be available but specific pricing information was not announced.

The Hop-on HOP2001 is a PDA style mobile device which makes use of Windows Mobile 6. It offers callers dual mode GSM and CDMA properties and is being touted as having “the ability to become the world’s first handheld slot machine, video poker or black jack device.” You get in this phone what is becoming your usual mix of wireless technologies as well, including GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0.

Hop-on 1883Hop-on, a cell phone manufacturer perhaps best known for developing disposable mobiles, is introducing a new handset with GPS abilities. The Hop-on 1883 has no set price announced as of yet.

The Hop-on 1883 integrates a SiRF Starlll GPS chipset for helping you get around town. It’s otherwise a rather regular tri-band GSM style mobile in a candy bar design. The 1883 sports a 2.8-inch touchscreen display which is full color and a two-megapixel digital camera for photos and video recording. Bluetooth 2.0 support is also included.
